Acceptance of Terms
Agreement
By accessing or using ChilluCoder (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Eligibility
ChilluCoder is designed for learners of all ages. Users under 13 must have parental or guardian consent. Users under 18 who register for an account confirm that they have obtained this consent. If you are a parent and believe your child has registered without consent, please contact us to remove their account.
Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Account Terms
Registration
You may register using an email address or a supported OAuth provider (Google, GitHub, Discord). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
One Account Per Person
Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, abuse free limits, or gain unfair advantage is prohibited and may result in all accounts being suspended.
Acceptable Use
Permitted Use
ChilluCoder is provided for personal, educational, and non-commercial learning purposes. You may use the tutorials, live compiler, and community features for lawful activities.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Platform to: distribute malware or harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other systems, scrape or harvest content at scale, harass other users, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
Compiler Usage
The online compiler is provided as a learning tool. Abusing it (e.g., running infinite loops, resource-intensive workloads, or using it for production systems) may result in rate limiting or account suspension.
User-Generated Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you create and publish on ChilluCoder (such as blog posts or code snippets). By posting, you grant ChilluCoder a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Platform.
Content Standards
All user-generated content must be respectful, constructive, and legally compliant. Content that is hateful, abusive, plagiarised, or violates third-party rights will be removed.
Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to the community, at our sole discretion.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All tutorial content, code examples, design assets, and branding on ChilluCoder are the intellectual property of ChilluCoder or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell our content without prior written permission.
Open Source Examples
Code examples in tutorials are provided for educational use. Unless otherwise stated, they are available under the MIT licence for learning and personal projects.
Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by ChilluCoder without obligation or compensation to you.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
As-Is Service
ChilluCoder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
Educational Purpose
Tutorial content is provided for educational purposes only. We are not responsible for any issues arising from applying code or concepts learned on this Platform to production systems.
Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChilluCoder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
Termination
By You
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is permanent and removes all associated data within 30 days.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or otherwise act against the spirit of the Platform.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by nature should survive termination (such as IP rights and liability limitations) will continue to apply.
